Watching: Last few episodes of [연인]

I didnt finish watching it on SCV due to tuition. Abit dumb though to finish watching it only like a few months later.. but well its still a good show.

Still sick so dun feel like blogging much.. took mc for 2 days. Funny thing was i took them on tuesday n friday, which means that this stupid flu bug has been in me for 4 days. I dun deserve such loyalty please.

맨날 그사람의생각과 마음을 알고 싶은데 그러나 어쩌지? 방법이 없네..

Watching: [인체탐험대] & the various 축제s.

After watching [인체탐험대], i realised just how much i miss jae, chun, su, min and ho. In korea, i mean.

And i love the 2 episodes cos they are just so so precious.. all 18 of them together again! The last time that happened was like when they filmed [Show me your love]. Ha SM summer and winter albums not considered cos there were so many other people too. And with the addition of 소녀시대 i think SM is seriously suffering from overpopulation. Lol.

As for the music festivals in 2007, somehow the enthusiasm that i once had for them is gone. Blame it on the absence of dongbang. What's a music festival without DBSK?? Nothing.

Not even ss501 was there to grace the events.

Luckily there was still suju. N of cos, shinhwa. Ha i was pleasantly surprised when they sang [T.O.P]!! That certainly brought back alot of fond memories.. ^^

On a sidenote, still plagued by the persistent cough. Argh. It got so bad that even my throat hurts now cos of too much coughing. ㅠ.ㅠ

And to add fuel to fire.. somebody keeps bothering me. I dowan to be mean, but why issit the correct person doesnt bother me, and the wrong person keeps doing it?

Counting down..
Well not to my study trip in Korea (thats abit too far to start counting down now..) but rather to payday. Lol. I lurve february!! Including the long CNY break from 6th to 12th february that the wonjangnim has promised us cos the family is going to south africa (it beats me why they chose such a location), i have an extra consecutive day of holiday cos my off day is on wednesday. So after counting, i realise i am only working for 16 days next month. Woo~

Did i mention my burning passion for $$?

HAHA. xDD.

Nobody can disagree ba.

Anyway Bona아줌마 recommended me this tuition for her friend's daughter so hopefully i can clinch it so my finances will not be that tight. And she's really an angel cos she's going back to korea these 2 weeks and she promised to help me buy my electronic dictionary! ^^ Yup and frankly speaking, i am not that close with her so i was really grateful when she agreed.

Having a dry cough recently and it kinda irks me cos i cant teach properly in class. Just gulped down 2 antibiotics and they better start working..

Caught Le Grand Chef yesterday with 기원오빠. Issit just me or does it really feel kinda amusing to watch a korean movie with a korean. Lol.


Anyway the movie by my standards was slightly better than mediocre only despite its box office ranking. Maybe cos i am not very interested in food? Ha. The plot was kinda flimsy though some of the subplots were funny. And i dun like lee hana.. but 기원오빠 thinks she's quite pretty. Erm i think im soo jung is better than her..

Overall i think 200pounds beauty was a better flick. At least that show made me laugh and cry. Ha ok and it had joo jin mo and kim ah joong. o.O

Oh the only part that made me drop a tear was when he sacrificed his own cow for the cooking competition. Ehh i cant help it.. i cry more easily over animals than humans. Its just erm beyond my control cos its a subconscious reflex. Unfortunately, 기원오빠 saw it and i think he was amused cos it was over a cow! Lol.

Speaking of crying, i think i was practically bawling during the last 2nd episode of [Fashion 70s]. Kim min jung is good k. I give her thumbs up for her role in the show. From an arrogant and confident lass to one that literally broke down mentally and emotionally, it was really heartwrenching to see her gradually losing all she had. And in the first place, it wasnt even her fault. Even the main character's role pales in comparison to hers. Good~ I love the show even though it gave me puffy eyes. Ha.

Oh yeah, my mum say we are most probably going to Taiwan during the march holidays. Though it will be my third time there but i still love the place. ^^ And apparently my brother still wants to go australia again in june. Thats why i need more $! They are eating into my korea study funds. [-___-]"

So for the taiwan trip i told my mum i will only pay 200bucks. LOl.

And for the record, yesasia is also happily devouring my bank account. Argh.

I Feel Korea~
Yeah my mum has finally given the green light!! I can already FEEL my imminent trip to korea. Haha. I once read a quote that said "The most beautiful things in the world are felt, and not seen." So thats why i must FEEL korea. :D

Hmm in a pretty contented mood recently.

Oh, but still just wanna grumble abit. Ok just one short line.

This world is just too harsh in its judgement.

I dun mean it as an enigma.

Its nothing much actually, and given my cant-be-bothered attitude with most homosapiens (Remember, im largely on the animals' side), its quite a miracle how some people still can go all the way to piss me off. Well, of cos i am not saying that they do it on purpose (im giving them the benefit of the doubt) but it just never fails to amaze me sometimes how insensitive humans (supposedly the more 'intelligent' species) can be.

Oh well, like i always advocate, Life is too short to be dwelling on unhappy stuff.

Just grumble n vent your displeasure n tada~ you are a happy person again. Haha. Ok, im oversimplifying it but you get the drift..

Darn i forgot what i want to blog again.

Supposed to be continuing the list of things that me and angel wanna do in korea, but i guess she almost covered all. Lemme think of those on my priority list..

1) My fireworks (all the koreans i asked have played it before! argh)

2) Building a snowman

3) Snowball fight

4) Warming myself at a jijimbang

5) Playing baseball

6) Stuffing myself with ttokppogi

7) Try sundae (ehh not the icecream..its a korean food that my students suggested)

8) Looking at N Seoul Tower on the way to school every morning

Haha my list is getting cranky as it continues.

Anyway, there are just 1001 things i wanna do when im there but actually the most important thing is: i just wanna be physically there. Heh.

Met a couple of new faces these few days in my classes and some of them are really fun to crap with, oops i mean teach. HAHA. But i miss taesung! Havent had him in my class for 3 consecutive weeks. =( Hope he doesnt forget me. LOl. Anyway just wanna bring up a few who were particularly memorable. ^^V

The first one is Jin Young, who as fate would have it, is actually kyuchan's friend in the same grade at SAS. So naturally, he warmed up to me pretty quickly since he was basically the same 'kuan' as kyuchan. And he was so amused when i said that ya i know '쪽팔려'.. which got him and his classmate all hyper somehow then they kept laughing n the wonjangnim came in to shush them. ROFL.

The second one is Kim Sungdo. I think he's the oldest boy student i have met so far. Girls wise, i did teach a korean mum before and it felt downright strange cos her level of English was not very high so i had to go slow too. N to do that to an adult as compared to kids is just.. odd.

Anyway sungdo caught my attention cos his nationality is chinese! Ha nationality, not race please. He is still korean just that he was born in china and had grown up in Qingdao most of his life so his chinese is better than his korean. N he's already in secondary 3 here so i gather he's around 16 or 17 in korea. Yup, older so more mature line of thoughts, so easier to communicate.

The last one is Min young. Ha his name sounded kinda girlish but trust me, he must be a heartthrob in school! xDDDD. I was quite stunned when i saw him cos he looks so much like Lee wan~ N the age is just right too cos he's around 14 or 15. Haha. I hope he comes to my class again. N he told me he doesnt like games but prefers to read! Lol. I thought shuai ges generally dislike studying and stuff? Yeah and he's pretty quiet and reserved kind. So i hope i see him often enough so that he can slowly open up. But frankly, i didnt really look him in the eyes today cos its not often you see someone so good looking upclose..Keke.

Seriously, i am becoming more and more nuts as the days pass..

Lazy again..
Watching: My accumulated clips..

Ehh i really think i need to get an external hard drive soon. Cos im too lazy to rename everything and burn it properly!! ARgh. Can i pay somebody to do it for me? LOL.

Trust me, its a staggering amount of random clips. At least drama is easier to rename. I honestly shouldnt like so many people..Ha. Luckily i dun see buzz or the nuts most of the time. Dealing with dongbang, ss501, suju n ft island is more than enough to kill. But oh well, seeing them brings a huge smile to my face so i dun think im stopping my collection anytime soon in the future. ^^V

Met up with kaywee yesterday n got a treat from him at jang shou korean bbq at esplanade. Ha the samgyopsal there is expensive but so far its the best i have tried!! :D Actually it was recommended to me by kyung bin and seong min in class that time and it was just nice i met kaywee at suntec so dragged him to try it with me. Oops but the bill wasnt very cheap. Though i dun think it was the most expensive meal i had with my jie. =p

Anyway i treated him to icecream at haagen daaz to make up for it. Hmm i think i have not seen him for like 2-3 months? He was talking about his masters which apparently wasnt going too well. N i was quite surprised to hear that eugene was flying off today to australia to study medicine for 4 years! Woah..okay. But the school fees and everything added up to erm the price of two 4/5 room HDB flats?

I applaude his courage and determination.

I dun think i can stand another 4 years of studying..

But it was good to see my jie again after so long. Though i failed to 'annoy' him this time. Ha. Hope his project will see some light soon..

N i still wanna try more samgyopsal.. *^__^*

Heard from taeseok and jisoo that there is good korean icecream in singapore but both of them cant remember the exact location! Aish. N i like jisoo's iriver electronic dictionary. Cos its metallic red too. Lol. Gonna miss them again cos the 2nd round of winter program is ending on this tuesday. Then all the international school students are going back to school. So fast~

Ehh I suddenly crave to go for korean lessons cos my brother is going for not only japanese lessons, but french and german too! Haha he's mad. But i hate doing homework though. I think i prefer having korean lessons in a more private setting than in a class. Something like what im doing at readingtown but in korean.. why dun have??

Ha ok i shall go bother bona 아줌마 someday.. =p
